Dear Parents, Teachers, Administration, Staff, Officers and Friends,

Please allow me this opportunity to thank you for these last two years; to serve you, our school and most important, our children. Although I always imagined ending my term under different and happier conditions, none the less, I am grateful for having been blest by this experience. We were successful in our events, and more importantly, friendships were born and community was realized! I am sure I speak for many of you when I say, I am taking away so much more than I gave to St Brigids PTA.

It is my hope that our little community and friendships will continue after the last day of school. One of the great things about technology and the internet is the ability to stay together, so let's give it a try.

Parents: May God bless you and your families. May the Blessed Mother watch over and protect you wherever you go. May you and your children take the lessons you've learned at St. Brigids with you throughout all your lives. Where one door closes, a window opens - remember to let the sun shine in.

Teachers, Administration & Staff: May the Lord help you in your search for work. Most important, we parents thank you for the knowledge, patience and guidance you've showered upon our children. Being a teacher goes way beyond abc's and 123's. You sometimes had to wipe their tears, or be their counselor and role models. Your sacrifices will never be forgotten.

PTA Officers & Members: Thank you for your time, talent, sweat and hard work. If I were ever on an island with nothing and had to choose a handful of people to survive with, I'd choose you! You all make great things happen out of nothing and for that, I'll be forever grateful!

And as my grandmother always said, say so long, not good bye, because good bye is forever, but so long means SEE YOU SOON!

Sincerely yours,

Mary Anne Cecchetto

Great Response at the Parent/Staff Meeting

I would like to thank everyone who attended last night’s meeting. There were more than 100 people in attendance. The enthusiasm, positive energy, suggestions, and offers of support were up-lifting. Channel 6 coverage was also another positive. We thank Mrs. Kelly Razzano for contacting Channel 6. The next challenge is to take this positive energy and translate it into action.

What’s next?

The School Board will meet on February 2nd, consider your input and prepare a recommendation to be submitted to the Diocese on February 9th.

How you can help.

Pray that the Holy Spirit guides us and provides us with the strength to do God’s will as we meet the challenges we face.

Attend Thursday’s Committee Meeting (see sign-up below).

Demonstrate your commitment to a Catholic Education by attending the January 31st, 11:00am, Catholic Schools Mass at St. Patrick’s Church

Please complete and return to the school office.
